MaryRuth's has not done any studies with our products and airport x-ray scanners. However, the x-ray scanners used at airports for baggage control operate at a lower energy frequency, thus radiation levels in airport x-ray scanners are significantly lower than radiation levels used in hospital x-ray machines, CT scan, etc. In general, the literature and studies show it is very difficult, if not impossible, to detect changes to food once it has been through an airport X-ray scanner.
