MaryRuth Liquid Probiotics are not synthetically created in a lab, or chemically extracted but are Soil-Based Organisms (SBOs) extracted with water from a proprietary blend of three organic grasses and suspended in their own enzyme-enriched substrate.

Because of this, strains can colonize; this liquid form of probiotics are live, raw & shelf-stable and can easily survive the high temperatures of the body, stomach acid and antibiotics. SBOs are adept at surviving in higher temperatures because of their natural lifecycle and studies have shown that SBO probiotics are that much more well-adapted to the environment of the gut, and survive in the digestive tract where they can provide long term benefit.

The three organic grasses used in this process are ‘Trade Secret’ and cannot be disclosed. However, here is some additional information regarding the grasses:

  • Native, non-GMO grasses.

  • Grown in nature, not on commercially propagated land, as common grasses—such as fescue, bermuda, alfalfa, wheatgrass, barley, lemongrass, timothy grass, etc—often are, but on an organic farm, on virgin ground.

  • The grasses are NOT harvested elsewhere (China, Mexico, Asia, etc) and shipped to the U.S. to “make the brew” but instead grown in an isolated part of the U.S., with a minimum of pollution and other external negative effects associated with human interaction.

  • The process used to extract the probiotic strains from the grass is solely water-based (not chemical-based like most probiotics). The water used is unadulterated well water, and it is processed several times through a 5 micron-filtration system.

Our Liquid Probiotic is not made out of grass, but is extracted from the grasses. If you have a grass allergy, we hope the information we are able to give has been helpful. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the grasses being a proprietary blend, we cannot share anything further.

We always recommend that everyone check with their physician or healthcare professional before beginning any new wellness supplement to make sure the supplement is suitable for their health. Your physician or healthcare professional can assist you in determining if the probiotic and dosage is suitable for you!
